The jack-of-all trades, Bert (Arthur Cook - 8th grade), introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane (Meg Zelasko - 8th grade) and Michael (Elise Hatton - 8th grade) have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins (Kinsley Seitz - 8th grade) arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."

Brought to you by the dedicated theater students of the Independence 7th & 8th Grade Drama Club, Director Gretchen Obrovac, Choreographer Rebecca Justice, Technical Director Dave Synek and an amazing group of parent and student volunteers!

Tickets are general admission $8 and are also available in person on the night of the show for cash or credit.
